Upon first glance, my photographer/model friend (Caitlin) utters "clay girl clay!" to which I reply "come again?" holding back laugher, "your trenchcoat is the color of clay". It was in that immediate moment my day was made. We buckled up and headed west bound en route to the city of angels. Despite the hellacious and ludicrous amount of traffic, we actually got a lot of crap done. We like to think of ourselves as a hybrid team of "getter-doners" by way of larry the cable guy.
Before we had a chance to relax, I joined Caitlin at a Target call-back casting that she later on admitted never auditioning for. Apparently in the modeling world if a company wants you bad enough, they'll do what's called a "Direct booking" and bring you in like a golden child! Such a tough life. To quote the foremost quotable film of our generation, "You go glen coco."
Following the string of modeling shenanigans, we took downtown by storm looking for shooting locations. The newest Galla Spectrum outfit had to be preeminent, I wasn't going to settle. Brown may be an unstimulating color but when we finally put it up against the architecture at city hall, it sang like a bird.
BROWN. "Solid, reliable brown is the color of earth and is abundant in nature. Light brown implies genuineness while dark brown is similar to wood or leather. Brown can also be sad and wistful. Men are more apt to say brown is one of their favorite colors.
It is considered to be a "safe" color and signifies intelligence, reassurance, and trust."
Brown may signify earth to one, and poop to another. it's all very subjective. So what say you?
